Scoil Naomh Eoin, is a school serving a rural population with a significant number of urban based children also enrolled. It is respectful of the needs of our diverse student population and operates in a way that endeavours to provide a quality educational experience for all through an integrated intercultural approach. 

Scoil Naomh Eoin is a Catholic School under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin but respects and includes those with different religious views in its educational programmes. It recognises the valuable role played by all parties involved -parents, students, management, staff and the local community in working towards the full and harmonious development of each child by nurturing the spiritual, moral, intellectual social and physical growth of our pupils.

Our educational programmes are child centred, involving the development of the whole child, with each child obtaining optimum personal fulfillment. We endeavour to develop within each student a sense of self-worth and giftedness together with an appreciation of, and respect for, the worth and giftedness of of every individual-both in school and in society.

A respectful pleasant atmosphere permeates through the school and high standards in all aspects of school life are encouraged and expected from every member of our school community.
