As well as coaching the junior class, the O'Dempseys players also threw in the ball to launch the lunchtime leagues. They also acted as umpires for the games and gave the children plenty of encouragement. The lunchtime league is a Gaelic football tournament which runs during lunchtime with students from 3rd to 5th class.
